Wasa Nabin

The Wasa-Nabin Urban Indigenous Children’s program provides one-to-one support and community based, group activities for youth ages 13 to 18. The goal of the Wasa-Nabin program is to provide support and tools to urban Indigenous children and youth to promote goal attainment, healthy choices and wholistic wellbeing. Supports and services offered to youth through the Wasa-Nabin program include access to healthy meals, physical activity and exercise, cultural teachings, land-based learning, volunteer opportunities, school and homework help, life skill building, 2SLGBTQIAA+ support, peer mentorship and community gatherings.
